A one day Easter appeal brings hope and smiles
Lent is a 40 day period of prayer, fasting and alms-giving. The climax of this period is the Holy Week. On Holy Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 Robert led a one-day appeal towards alms-giving, which had a great response. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who contributed generously to this cause. I pray that God rewards you abundantly.
From your donations, we managed to extend alms to 150 families with each family receiving sugar, salt, cooking oil, rice, bar of soap and a loaf of bread. The relief, the hope and the smiles that we see on the people keeps us going and energized to do more with your continued support. I say this so you know that even the smallest of donations has a great impact.
I wish you all a fruitful Easter Triduum and a Happy Easter. May the joy of the risen Lord be with you and your families always.
